Application Scope
Battu can be combined with cement to provide a tile adhesive mix for Wall/Dado Tiles up to 2 ft × 2 ft & Floor Tiles.
Step 1: Prepare the Surface
Clean the surface properly. Remove dust, loose particles from the floor area or the wall. Lightly dampen the Tile under surface before application.
Step 2: Prepare the Mix
Add 300 ml BATTU to the mixing water. Add cement gradually and mix to form a smooth, lump-free, sticky adhesive paste.
Step 3: Apply the Adhesive
Spread the BATTU based adhesive paste evenly on the tile surface using a suitable trowel.
Step 4: Fix the Tile
Place the tile immediately on the wall surface or the floor surface as desired. Press firmly to ensure proper bonding.
Step 5: Align & Level
Check alignment and level of the tile along the diagonal and the junctions. Maintain uniform joints and remove excess adhesive.
Step 6: Allow to Set
Leave the tiles undisturbed until adequately set.
Step 7: Grouting
After the tiles have set, clean the joints and carry out grouting.
